Epson's new interactive projector, designed specifically for educators lets you turn any standard whiteboard or smooth wall into an interactive learning station. Epson’s BrightLink 450Wi interactive projector comes with two digital infrared pens and wall mount hardware. The BrightLink 450Wi is an affordable interactive solution for classrooms that previously needed two components (projector and interactive whiteboard). Project images from 55-inches diagonal to up to 96-inches diagonal (WXGA) and up to 102 inches diagonal (XGA). The BrightLink 450Wi is compatible with most interactive software systems, so you can use existing curriculum while expanding to include more digital content.

In order for SANYO to shorten the projection distance of its projectors, new large diameter aspheric lens and high-precision aspheric mirror technology was developed. SANYO also developed a new optical engine, enabling an 80 inch projection from the short distance of only 8 cm*2. Through this, large projections from a short distance are possible, and projection is possible even in tight or small meeting rooms, creating a meeting opportunity in any room or space that is available.

 Through the PLC-XL50's proprietary optical and cooling (mechanism) technology, the projector can project vertically or horizontally. The new optical engine developed for this projector was created with a high-precision aspheric mirror enabling large magnification from the lens's optical projection which has been wide-angle reflected and combined with a distortion correction mechanism lens. Through this engineering, even from an ultra-short distance, the image is large and not distorted. Because of the mirror the projection orientation has been changed and advanced, improving install options.

Also, to allow projection either vertically or horizontally, a special cooling mechanism became essential, and therefore, the projector adopts a one-way flow system consisting of an air intake and exhaust mechanism on the main body of the projector.
